KNKX App Crashes way too much and way too often!
I’m a long time listener of Jazz24 and have been using the KNKX iOS app for almost twenty-four hours. Now, because the website which my WiFi radio is coupled with, has been withdrawn, the KNKX iOS app is the only way I can continue listening to Jazz24. Last night, the app crashed while I was listening. This afternoon noon, the KNKX app has crashed three times while streaming to my August A-link WiFi Speaker. The app crashes A lot!!! This issue, (bug), needs resolving, as this is extremely annoying.
Functional, but needs update
I really like having this app as a quick way to pull up the KPLU feed. As a minimum requirement, this works great.
Beyond that, the app doesn't follow Apple's HIG (interface guide). There is a custom volume slider, menu items transition in from the top (except when it inconsistently slides in from the side), and assets are not retina ready. What level of donation is needed to get an update?
Great!
Fabulous. Intuitive user interface, unlike another NPR app I downloaded recently. Provides a list of 'recently played'. Low latency between this feed and the live radio feed.
