Krestrel

Metabolic diet & care tracker

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Krestrel is a record-keeping tool for parents and legal guardians of children with and without metabolic conditions. LOG MEALS AND NUTRIENTS Record what your child eats. Krestrel calculates per-meal and daily nutrient totals from USDA FoodData Central reference values and shows them alongside the limits you enter from your child's care team. Krestrel does not suggest, set, or adjust any limit. TRACK DAILY CARE Feeding, sleep, diapers, medications given, growth measurements, milestones, appointments, and health-log entries, in one timeline your whole circle shares. RECORD LAB RESULTS Enter results and the reference range your clinician provides, and view them on a chart. SHARE WITH YOUR CARE CIRCLE Invite the other parent, family, or caregivers with per-person permissions. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads, no third-party analytics, no tracking. Your data is used only to run the features you use, and you can permanently delete your account and all data in Settings. Nutrient figures are general references — always confirm values and your child's limits with your metabolic dietitian.

Lab results and protein tracking are here. • Import lab results from a CSV or PDF — extracted values land on a review screen first, so nothing is saved without your OK, and the original file is kept privately for reference. • More accurate lab history — charts and counts now draw from a child's entire lab record instead of just recent results, duplicate results from re-uploaded reports are cleaned up, and re-importing the same file no longer doubles your values. • See protein for every child — protein now appears as a running total on the Today dashboard and while logging meals, whether or not you've set a limit for it. • Track total protein as a target — as a daily allowance, a growth minimum, or both. Every child now reaches the tracking-targets step during setup. • Added an "Other" activity type for logging. • Clearer onboarding share wording. • Fixed several "I pressed the button and nothing happened" issues: meal edits now confirm they saved (or tell you why), and the protein target form scrolls into view when opened. • Fixed an activity-timer crash, corrected protein units, plus additional chart and data-accuracy fixes.
