I always knew about Later and tried it out very briefly once but it didn’t catch on with me. I wanted more complex scheduling features. Well I found some SMM platforms that were wayyy too complex, so I eventually came back to check out Later and somehow it’s exactly what I want and need. Simple yet packed with the features you need as an influencer or brand to grow an account and do the most important thing for your consistency, schedule your posts! I love the cross posting and copy post feature too, it makes it a breeze.

In light of these considerations, I feel compelled to advise my network against selecting Later for their social media management needs, urging the company to revisit its policies to better serve a diverse user base seeking flexible and user-friendly solutions.

I signed up for Later’s free trial and unfortunately missed the cancellation window, so I was charged for a year. I owned that mistake and made a real effort to use the platform, but it simply doesn’t deliver on its promise. The Instagram thumbnail/cover feature doesn’t work reliably, posts often freeze or fail, and the scheduling tools are clunky. Instead of saving time, I ended up spending as much (or more) time fixing issues directly in the platforms.When I reached out to customer support, they flatly refused to offer even a prorated refund or credit. They cited policy, ignored the fact that the product isn’t functional, and then—most audaciously—asked me to help them troubleshoot their own broken platform.Bottom line: the platform is unintuitive, the features unreliable, and the support team unhelpful. Be very cautious before committing to an annual plan.

Later used to work much better. It constantly disconnects from auto post all the time now. I go in to check about once a week. The point of this is to have more time to work on my business and less time on social. I lost opportunity because I trusted this program would post and I had JUST refreshed the connections within a week. It didn’t post most of my images for an important launch which ruined the momentum and affected sales. The whole point of this app is to be able to trust that it will post. It’s not reliable. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because it has nice screens for uploading and typing out captions. The ability to schedule multiple posts across platforms is nice too. I just wish it actually posted.
