Layerly 1.4 New Onboarding Experience First-time setup has been completely expanded. New users are now walked through all of Layerly's core features before they start — daily outfit recommendations, the four outfit tools (Try Another, Customize Outfit, Build Around an Item, and Log This Outfit), wardrobe management, outfit sharing, and trip planning. Each page shows a live mock of the feature so you know exactly what to expect. Preview Onboarding Anytime You can now replay the onboarding experience from Settings → About → Preview Onboarding without losing any wardrobe data, history, or preferences. Smarter Outfit Logging Log This Outfit now records the exact items shown on screen — including colors and specific pieces — rather than re-deriving them. Your history is now a true record of what you actually wore. Layering for Warmth Gaps When your best available jacket falls short of the recommended warmth for the day, Layerly now automatically suggests adding a mid-layer (sweatshirt or quarter-zip) to close the gap. The comfort rating on the main screen also now reflects your actual owned items rather than the ideal recommendation. Better Wardrobe Gap Suggestions Color suggestions in Wardrobe Gaps are now ranked by how well they pair with the clothes you already own — not just generic defaults. The colors you see first are the ones most likely to complete your existing wardrobe.
