Don’t you hate when companies claim to make learning fun?
There really is nothing "fun" about learning languages.
There’s definitely satisfaction in impressing friends, passing exams, and using your language skills in the real world but the fun comes in the time you save by finding the right learning method.
Dr. Moku strives to make learning languages painless and effective so you have more time to create your own fun.
Studying sucks. Memorization stinks. Mnemonics work.
The first Dr. Moku app was published way back in 2010, it was primitive and clunky but it helped tens of thousands of people to learn Hiragana and Katakana without the pain of rote memorization.
This new app is the start of a whole new chapter. The vision is to gradually add new languages and subjects using the same mnemonic techniques.

Ratings and Reviews
i downloaded this today and so far i am learning japanese basics pretty fast with the examples they give me to remember. thanks a lot for this. the only reason i wanna give this a 4 star rating is because some of the audio on the app is low quality and i cant tell which word theyre saying therefore i get the answers wrong. from how much ive used this app in a day thats all the complaints so yea
This application is very helpful in my understanding of the Korean language.

Very Helpful for Visual Learners
I am a visual learner and have been coming up with ways to try and help me memorize Hiragana and Katakana. I have tried a lot of different Japanese language learning apps/books and while they were good, nothing was really making all of the various characters remain in my memory, some were just too visually similar. I heard about this app via YouTube and decided to give it a go. So far it’s helped me a lot! Each character has its own unique matching image which makes it easy to distinguish between one another.
Some improvements for the future since this is a newer app would be cross syncing if you have the app on multiple devices, I have an account but it doesn’t seem like it carries it to my iPad. It’s not a huge deal since I don’t mind redoing lessons as it helps reinforce things but if you favorite something it doesn’t appear on my other device. I have also had a bug appear a few times after purchasing where items have a lock even though I bought full access, clicking restore purchase fixes it, and it still lets me into lessons when it does appear but it might be something to look into.
I still even with the few small improvements/criticisms give the app 5 stars as it’s very helpful for my learning style, and would be very helpful to other visual learners.
