Great concept

I would love this app if it worked properly. It starts out fine and then I only have half a screen showing. The tracing is klunky. Sometimes it works but more often you have to trace something 3-4 times before it detects your finger. Wish you could fix the bugs.
Also, by the time I turn down the volume of the kids singing, I can’t hear the pronunciation of the letters. I didn’t see any settings where I could turn the music off.

Figure out your audience

Is this for kids? Or for foreigners trying to learn the language? I am a foreigner trying to learn. Can’t imagine Thai children would have much trouble learning the Thai alphabet, so, why have this? But, then, why have English words in the app? As a foreigner, I really would like a Flashcard app to teach me reading. I have a handle on all vowels and consonant sounds already, but it’s not reflexive nor automatic(especially with less used or obsolete letters), and flashcards I feel would help. I’ve made flashcards, but they are a pain to carry around. Writing Thai letters shouldn’t be hard for anyone with a bit of practice on good old pen and paper. Just always start with the haite, only two consonants without haite’s(ก and ธ). Besides this day and age, who writes anyways; people type. Anyways, writing clumsily on a phone or pad is inefficient to say the least. The song in the background is incredibly annoying and distracting. Even for kids, I’d think the music would drive them nuts. Studying should be done in QUIET. Do kids go to school and have the teacher turn on music while they try to teach? Even kids TV shows turn off the music when it’s lesson time. Cutesy art helps none at all for grown up foreigners. But then English portions are for whom? Is the English for pre schooler Thais trying to learn the Thai alphabet? Is this for foreign born Thai kids??? If so, let me tell you, first, that audience would be tiny, and English words like “consonant, vowel,” etc., are rather advanced words, much higher age than fits this cutesy format. The app just doesn’t make sense. Figure out your audience and cater to them instead of straddling the fence?
