App works but cannot hear the sound on the speakers

App installation and sync with switch works great in fact while playing I can see myself hitting the proper notes but for some reason I cannot hear me. I try this with 2 different iPhones same symptom. Check online for other people experiencing this and was not able to find any help so I hope I can get your help here. I checked the sound setup in game and on the app itself and on my phone meaning the app has the permissions to access the mic that’s why I can see myself hitting the notes. I bought the game and all the extras so please I need this working ASAP.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the microphone app does not reproduce users voices in the game because of the latency induced by the Wi-Fi protocol.

If this feature is very important to you, we can advise you to buy a USB microphone to hear yourself in the game.

Do NOT use! Not worth it!!

If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. Just as everyone else had issues - we did too. I probably should have read the reviews before purchasing Let’s Sing 2020 on our Switch. The app doesn’t connect despite every troubleshooting method out there. We triple checked our WiFi making sure each device and the console was connected to the same connection. We went through troubleshooting within the app along with the game - and still nothing. The suggestion to hit R was evident only ONCE on the screen and doing so made no difference. We even waited to hit search per several suggestions until after the R prompt. Lastly, we created a secondary Nintendo account JUST TO TRY THIS ON A FRESHLY LINKED PROFILE. No dice!!!! I am so bummed and a bit angry. I have connected with Nintendo because I literally downloaded content I have no use for - but you need to fix this! This is ridiculous and the amount of customers with this issue is totally unacceptable and unnecessary.

Can’t Connect

Purchased 2019 version and just like the other reviews here, this app fails to connect to our switch console.

We made sure that our profile is connected to a Nintendo account, that our console and our phones were on the same WiFi network, made sure to trigger the L button on the controller to force connect and lastly ensured our iPhones had compatible iOS. Unfortunately after all those steps, our iPhones cannot locate the console to secure a connectivity.

I’ve also tried to find solutions online or look for a support link but with no results.

Developers, please read your reviews and feedback as they are all consistent that this app does not work. Especially if your customers are spending $40+ and possibly more with the cost of a microphone since smartphones apparently don’t work, these issues should be fixed! We were even considering purchasing 2020, but with these issues occurring, we’re regretting our 2019 recent purchase.
