LF Companion 4+

I love large format paper negative photography!! I was literally just thinking about how awesome it would be to have an app that did everything this app does! I was trying to give a presentation about large format photography and I ended up trying to get the class to learn to invert the colors and switch their phones to black and white (since it’s so different on different phones). But nobody came to the class prepared and I didn’t have enough time for them to try to do the pre-class assignment during my presentation so I was so disappointed afterwards because I just wanted everyone to be able to have some experience looking at a photo they took and be able to look at what changes in the images large format (while not having access to a darkroom). I was going on the standard camera site (daydreaming about buying my own 4x5 since I had only borrowed one at my college) and I saw this app there and Basically this app is awesome and I’m super looking forward to using it on my own and to explain large format photography to others!! Great job!!

Ever since apple introduced the smart invert function in the accessibility mode, inverting my camera to view negatives has been a pain. I either have to download a specialized app or navigate through the settings.

It’s really nice to have this as a tool that i always have with me. It’s great as it is- but for the future maybe I’d love to see a light meter addition, and maybe a film logbook! I’d also like to review my image after I made it. 5 stars

Color inversion tool is my favorite component of this app - easily view film negatives in their true color through your phone screen instead of having to scan them into photoshop first.
