Description

Support family and friends who use Freestyle Libre sensors by following their glucose information anytime, anywhere using LibreLinkUp.

Use LibreLinkUp to:
• Accept invitations to view data from up to 20 family members and friends [1]
• Receive glucose readings whenever they scan their sensor with their app [2]
• Receive shared glucose alarms that alert you when their glucose level is too low or too high [3]
• Review up to the 100 most recent glucose readings or shared glucose alarms

[1] You must accept invitations from FreeStyle LibreLink mobile app users in order for them to share glucose information with you.

[2] Both your app and Freestyle Libre sensor user’s app must be connected to the Internet in order share glucose information.

[3] Shared glucose alarms are only available when your LibreLinkUp app is connected to FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users who have enabled glucose alarms in their app. When glucose alarms are enabled in your LibreLinkUp app, you will receive the same low- and high-glucose alarm notifications that the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor user receives in their app.

Not useful

So this companion app gives binary results when the device is scanned but doesn’t give graphs, notes, or blood test notifications. So it’s a limited tool that gives limited data. It does give a trend arrow so it’s one notch better than a traditional blood test.

Want Data Upload to Cloud Desktop Spreadsheet

I have the Abbot Freestyle Libre 14 day CGM system and generally love it. I use both the handheld meter and or cell phone yellow Libre app to capture and display data and analytics from the arm patch stick-on device.
I want the ability to pull ALL time stamped glucose data from the system and place it in tab delimited form into my desktop computer for my own viewing and analysis. ALL data both the minute by minute data held by the patch and the user initiated recordings. .... Does the doctor system do this? Can I get it from my consumer system? Does the “family” app somehow allow this? The data is there and it moves around through your proprietary software and networking. Can the consumer get it? The current system does not allow me to show my endocrinologist specific events over the past several months. I want the full raw data.

Gonna Cause Someone to Die

Don’t know what happened to this app. It used to work fine as far as alerting me when they took a blood sugar reading. It used to send me warnings when the blood sugar level for my sibling started dropping, but recently the app just stopped sending alerts and readings even though alerts have never been disabled and are currently enabled for the app. This app may be decent for tracking a person’s glucose, but is an abject failure if you plan to share your glucose levels with with someone in real time because the “Alert” feature no longer functions. So, because this app no longer alerts me when he takes a reading or his sugar begins dropping, I no longer have any way to get him help during a diabetic emergency if he is unable to help himself. The bottom line is the app doesn’t live up to what it claims it is, they’re too incompetent to get it fixed and they’re gonna cause people to die because low blood sugar alerts (or any notifications for that matter) no longer function
