Line Shift is a real-time rail puzzle where the signal never waits for you. A glowing arrow leaves its emitter, rides whatever track lies ahead, and keeps going. You never touch the arrow. You rebuild the route in front of it while it runs.
Three crafts make up the game. In Seam Relay you drag lettered rails along their slots, snapping them into place ahead of the signal and stealing spent rails from behind it to close the next gap. In Flip Face you swipe two-sided tapes so the outbound face carries the signal into a waiting loop and the inbound face brings it home. In Cross Bridge you raise a crossing to keep a heading or flatten it to force a turn. Line Relay mixes all three with clamps, reverse pads, delay rings, splitters, mergers, counters, doors and echo nodes.
Every route ends when the required signals reach their gates. Mistakes are gentle: a signal brakes at a gap, bounces off a clashing port, and the emitter refills anything lost.
