Easy to use! Great app & company
Love using the app to add funds to my children’s account and check on the balance. It’s perfect for when I’m not at my computer and working - saves me time to do it on my phone when I get low balance reminders.

Sketchy
I recently downloaded the LINQ Connect app at the recommendation of my child's school to avoid sending him in with lunch money. Online funding of kids lunch accounts sounds like a solid idea, I was hopeful. Signup was easy enough and I was able to get money into the account quickly. However, there is *always* a convenience fee. $2.85 in my case, even the first time when it clearly states "convenience fee $0.00". I put in $20 and had this $2.85 convenience fee. 15% seems exorbitant for the "convenience". You can't get reimbursed for this hidden fee, even when LINQ has admitted it was a glitch in their software that inaccurately showed a $0.00 convenience fee. Also, there is a maximum amount you can put in at a time, forcing you to pay the convenience fee more often. Their system clearly benefits those that can afford to max out the payment each time, making the per meal cost more expensive for people with less money. Again, funding kids lunch money online is a solid idea, but LINQ's system is too expensive and exploits those that can't afford to max out the payment. I will be sending my child to school with a check to avoid supporting this company. Also, how does the app have this high of rating, look at the reviews. I originally put this review up in August and it was somehow taken down without providing me any notice. Wonder if that’s why it still has a 4 star rating?

Hello and thanks again for your feedback. We aim to be as transparent as possible with our fees. This information can vary by school district and payment type, so we cannot display the convenience fee amount until we know your payment amount and method. We have taken steps to make this more clear and have addressed this with other users. As previously stated, you are welcome to reach out to us at support@linqconnect.com to rectify issues with your account.
Regarding payment amounts, the maximum deposit amount allowed is set by your school district, not by LINQ. If you have concerns, we recommend reaching out directly to your district office.
Posting Date Incorrect/Can’t Print Transactions
There must have been an update recently that affected the posting/transaction dates. Now it is showing that meals are posting the day before they are actually being purchased. ie. Posting on Sundays when they were not even in school.. This is a real issue when two different households manage the students purchases on their respective days. Also, I have tried to print the transactions on the mobile app (iPhone and iPad) and two different browsers and there is no way to print. I have tried researching online, including the LINQ resources and our school district instructions, with no avail. This should not be this difficult to manage and I am extremely frustrated. Would rather just give my kids a debit card or cash to make school lunch purchases at this point but doubt that is even an option.

Hello, thanks for reaching out to us. The serving dates being off by one day is a known issue that we are resolving right now. Expect to see a fix in the next release! As for printing, currently we only support printing menus from the mobile app. We recommend using LINQ Connect on a web browser to print transaction history. We will keep this request in mind for feature enhancements.
Feel free to reach out to us at support@linqconnect.com should you have additional questions. Thanks!
