This is not in the directions, but after a few emails with customer support I tried this and it instantly worked: If you have a dual-band router you need to turn off the 5G WiFi before setting up the camera. Once the camera is setup and working you can turn the 5G back on. Just having different SSID’s was not enough, the camera kept defaulting to the 5G and would not setup, so just turn off your 5G until the camera is setup and all will be good.

The camera works fine, good picture, and a decent app. Click a button in the app to easily share your camera with family and friends. They download the app and have access to the camera.

I found the camera very easy to setup and get started using it within an hour of receiving. The app is easy to use and connect to the camera. It provides some great features and ability to customize to your needs. The one feature I would like to see added would be to customize the body detection to only alert during certain times. Being able to add time frames to alert would be beneficial but, not a deal breaker. Mounting is extremely easy with many options. I will see over time how the battery lasts but, great so far. Highly recommend.

Set up was extremely easy. The quality of the audio and video is much higher than expected. Since this is my first product of this kind I have nothing to compare it with but will suggest this to anyone in the market for a home monitor product. The product has been put at my disposal by the Review Club for testing purposes without any obligation but to provide my opinion on this product.
