Ratings and Reviews
Works, but could be so much better
It is fairly reliable, and connects well to my C2
Here’s what it needs IMHO:
- A list of stats, not 3 screens of multi function data buttons that you have to flip to see different stats for your workout. A flat list, on a nice simple background sortable by the user, would be awesome.
- A way to PAUSE!!! What if I need to pee? What if I get a call I have to take?
- Better monitoring of current stats, particularly which interval I am on.
Those are the big ones for me.
Not fully functional
So I was really excited to use this app in conjunction with my new C2 with PM5 and even paid the price for premium but it has limited functionality at best. Even with the optional, and surprisingly expensive, cable to connect to my iPhone from the PM5.
Things that work:
•When you chose a workout it will run it appropriately on your PM 5 and tracks during the workout the various metrics.
•Syncs easily with the PM5 for workouts via cable with a simple click on the workout and plugin.
Things not functioning:
•When you’re done with the workout the app crashes immediately post workout.
•All the metrics you just did such as distance, s/M all of it is not uploaded into the app. It’s like you’ve done nothing. Despite the workout showing completed in the app.
•when attempting to review the workout under history, I click on the workout and the app crashes immediately.
So, tell me why I just spent essentially $80 bucks to sync and track workouts for this combo of cable, phone holder and premium app? I’m more tempted to return the cable and phone holder and manually track the workouts myself. Complete waste of time and money at this point.
Finally 5 stars
I have been using this app for almost a year now and I think it has finally reached a stability level where I can reliably make use of its great features. No more crashes when saving the workout (at least not on my newer iPhone) and the Strava integration is very complete and calculation error free now. What I really like are the workouts and that they download to the PM5. There are still a few minor bugs but they are not bothersome. Great job getting the app to this point, I am recommending it to all my friends.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for the review Karsten. We hope to earn that 5th star back soon.
