Lockdown Alert tells every member of staff at your site the moment a lockdown starts, and again when it ends with an ALL CLEAR.
It is built for UK schools, multi-academy trusts, colleges and workplaces that use Lockdown Alert on their PCs, Macs, Chromebooks and screens. A lockdown can be started by a phone call to a set number, a panic button, an email from another system or one click in the Lockdown Alert portal.
On iPhone and iPad:
• A lockdown arrives as an urgent notification, even when the app is closed and the phone is locked
• Open it and the alert fills the screen with your site's own colours, wording and sound
• ALL CLEAR is sent to every device when the lockdown ends
• Drills are clearly marked TEST
• Staff enrol their phone by scanning the QR code from your Lockdown Alert portal
• IT teams can deploy the app and its settings with their device management
The app needs an enrolment key or QR code from your organisation's Lockdown Alert account. It does not collect contacts, location, photos or anything about how the phone is used.
