Description
Locket is a widget that shows live photos from your best friends, right to your Home Screen. You and your best friends will see new pictures from each other every time you unlock your phone. It’s a little glimpse of what everyone’s up to throughout the day.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Add the Locket widget to your Home Screen
2. When a friend sends you a photo, it instantly appears on your Locket widget!
3. To share a pic back, tap into the widget, take a pic with the camera, and then hit send! It appears right on your friends’ Home Screens
FOR YOUR CLOSE FRIENDS
• To keep things friendly, you can only have 20 friends on the app.
• On Locket, there’s no worrying about follower count, just add your best friends and family and live in the moment.
• With Locket, you’re able to be real and share photos to the people that matter.
REACT TO FRIENDS' PHOTOS
• Send a Locket reaction to your friends to let them know you saw their image.
• They’ll get a notification and you’ll love watching the emojis rain down on your photo.
• We don’t count or track the reactions, so you can be real and authentic without worrying about likes and filters like other platforms.
BUILD A HISTORY OF YOUR LOCKETS
• As you and friends snap Lockets, you’ll build up a history of all images sent.
• Share them out as photos or use our video recap feature to stitch together the memories of you and your friends, capturing those “love it” moments.
• Locket will also make you a recap video at the end of every month with all of the photos you've shared.
ADD LOCKETS FOR YOUR BESTIES AND CRUSHES
• Decorate your home screen with more photos and images dedicated to your crush or your bestie
• Add the “Crush” or “Best Friend” picture widget, and see photos only from that person. Plus, you can send images just to that person too!

Locket’s innovative pairing of widgets with real-time photo updates has made it a staple of our phones. It’s helped us see small moments we might’ve missed (like our baby cousin on a swing) and big moments we wish we hadn’t missed (like our grown cousin’s graduation). Sometimes it was just reassurance our loved ones were on their way home—and that we’d see them soon.
Amazing! (and a few suggestions!)
i love this app and i adore its purpose 💓 it’s amazing to see a new photo of my friends/what they’re seeing each time i unlock my phone! it’s been even greater now that i can add more than 5 and 10 friends. i also have SO much respect for the developers and i see that locket is always responding to reviews and taking our words into account, thank y’all! as for the app, i will say that it sometimes delays— sometimes it won’t show any of the most recent unless you click into the app and then the widget “refreshes”. i’m also echoing the sentiment of some other reviewers when i say that i’d love to get another widget for another group! so like group #1 and group #2, and so on— i don’t have a need for a widget of one “best friend” or one “crush,” i would instead love to showcase my friend groups. one more suggestion, though i’m unsure how feasible it may be.. i know you can scroll on some widgets (like widgetsmith) to reveal another photo / widget in the same place. i’d love to see this replicated on locket! if that was the case, i could cycle through the photos i missed without clicking on the widget itself! just a fun feature idea for an already incredibly fun app :D
Love the app, one suggestion
I love this app!! I saw an add for it on TikTok and downloaded it to use with my parents, my grandma, and my best friend. We have been using it since late January and it’s been really cool to see how it’s evolved since then! I love that the developers actually listen to the suggestions in reviews to make the app better! I also love that I can see pictures of my friends and family and what they're doing throughout the day and start conversarion over it! I used to have many more suggestions but they were already added to the app so now I only have one. I think it would be very cool if we could upload pictures directly from the phones camera roll to the widget. Sometimes there are moments that I want to share on locket but I dont have time to open up to the locket app to snap a picture. It would be a great new feature since it’s quicker taking photos on our phone camera them on locket. Overall I love the app and I’m so excited to see what it will look like in the future!!
