Description
Lofionic Duplicat is a warm and lush tape delay effect for iOS, supporting AudioUnit Extensions, Inter-App Audio and Audiobus.
In addition to the Swell and Sustain controls found on the hardware equivalents, Duplicat introduces a tape Speed control, for fine tuning the rate of delay in realtime, and a tape Effect control which emulates the deteriorating effect of using worn tape by gradually introducing degradation to the feedback.
Duplicat is perfect for adding lush, organic sounding delay to your mixes ranging from trashy lo-fi grungy tones, through psychadelic swirls, to subtle slap-back.

Nice for the price!
Does what it says quite well. I recommend rebooting your device before using it. It crashed upon opening repeatedly on my iPad Pro until I rebooted. It works fine now.
Refuses to work, repeatedly crashes
I’m somewhat envious of the others who report success with this app. I really wanted to try it out. No way. It crashes my iPad Pro (2018) and continues to do so after multiple reboots. When I try to use it in Audiobus, it produces an irritating hum, and then crashes. Good thing I didn’t lay down 15 or 20 bucks for this. I’d be really disappointed. One star, because it is unusable, for me at least.
Awesome
I love using this app for GarageBand. I use it quite a lot. It along with a slow flanger, phaser and chorus is the perfect combo for psychedelic rock Pink Floyd style guitar solo sounds. Amazing effect.
