Set a LUFS target and a true-peak limit, then normalize a whole batch of audio files with one click. Try every feature free for 7 days. LUFS Normalizer adjusts the loudness of a batch of audio files to a target you set. Add your files, choose a LUFS target and a true-peak limit, and click Normalize. The app saves a normalized copy of each file to the folder you choose. Your original files stay as they are. How it works 1. Drag audio files into the window, or choose Add Files. The app opens WAV, FLAC, MP3, AAC, M4A and Ogg files. 2. Pick a loudness target. The built-in targets are -14, -16, -18, -23 and -24 LUFS, or you can enter your own. 3. Set a true-peak limit, such as -1 or -2 dBTP, or enter your own. 4. Choose an output format and a destination folder, then click Normalize. Normalization rounds Choose one, two or three rounds. Each round measures the file again and adjusts it from the previous result. The app keeps the best result. Final loudness depends on the source audio. Output formats Save as WAV, FLAC or MP3 at 128 to 320 kbps, or keep each file's original format. Keep the source sample rate, or convert to 44.1, 48 or 96 kHz. Each output file gets "_normalized" added to its name. If a file with that name is already in the destination, the app doesn't overwrite it. Presets Save the settings you use for podcast episodes or album masters as a preset. Click the preset to apply it to the next batch. Metadata With Preserve compatible metadata turned on, the app copies tags such as title, artist and album, and embedded cover art, when the output format supports them. Compressed sources For MP3, AAC and Ogg sources, the app works on lossless intermediate files between rounds, so it doesn't re-encode the audio at every round. A lossy output format is encoded once, at the end. Larger batches An option in Advanced settings processes several files at the same time. Your files stay on your Mac The app processes audio on your Mac and doesn't upload your files. You don't need an account. Temporary audio goes in your output folder or another folder you choose, and the app deletes it after processing. Free trial and one-time unlock LUFS Normalizer is free to download. Start the 7-day free trial in Settings to use every feature. After the trial, a one-time purchase keeps normalization unlocked. There's no subscription and no automatic charge. You can add files and prepare settings at any time, with or without the trial. Requirements A Mac with Apple silicon, running macOS 12 Monterey or later.
