In addition, the Tonight panel now features flyovers of the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope. The location settings have been redesigned for a more intuitive experience, and orbiting now automatically switches to a non-rotating frame when viewing objects from a distance. Lastly, motion tracking now preserves your selected time to make visual planning simpler, and a crash when search results include certain exoplanets has been fixed.

The location files are in JSON format, and you can generate your own files, placing them in the iCloud Drive > Luminos > Locations folder for automatic recognition by the app. The app can now also automatically adjust its time zone to match the selected location, simplifying target finding and event viewing for different places. This update also includes numerous other features like labels on the celestial poles, a re-designed pointer for offscreen objects, automatic labels for bright satellites, the ability to filter eclipse lists by eclipse type, and local times on eclipse map popups. Performance and battery life have been improved, and numerous bugs have been addressed, including random crashes, distance errors to galaxies, and enhanced detection for visible satellite flyovers.
