Doesn't work.

Let's start with the fact that the app just doesn't work. It's so slow that by the time it rings through, the person calling has given up. Then there's all the horrible tech decisions: if you forget your password, the app says, "Answer the security question to reset it," but it doesn't say what the security question is! Good news: the app has a customer support number. Bad news: it's been disconnected. The phone number they offer when you write is an answering service. The direct line has been disconnected. If you do get support via email, they say they will send you a password reset, but they don't tell you when it will arrive in your email—sometimes days later. And the link expires in an hour. It's just unbelievably bad.

Not great

I thought the new app would be better but it’s not. It’s annoying, as the second household member, I can’t hang up and go into the app to open the door. My phone doesn’t always open the door either but my husband who is the primary can open the door anytime, regardless the method. I deleted the app to reinstall thinking it would fix the problem, but now it’s says my login credentials aren’t correct and there’s no way to reset a password either. I asked for an email with my user name, it came back with three, only one is mine and none of them work. WTH

Long start time

I’m a solo female and I worry about my safety when entering my building. Cool graphic at the start but… it takes 7 seconds to load for me to finally buzz myself in. This means I have to pull out my phone several steps before entering the building so that it’s ready once I enter the vestibule. OR wait the 7 seconds in the vestibule to load the app. In BOTH scenarios the bad guy gets to snatch my phone or me. From a safety standpoint this is not good. It’s definitely a buggy app too. Glitches all the time and crashes.

Dear user, The MVI app has a standard 7 second loading time. However, we understand your safety concern. MVI provides a key fob as well, as a secondary entry option.
