Amazing though a little glitchy at times

I use this for getting photos and videos off my Nintendo Switch which does work really well, but sometimes it seem to glitch out a little bit. On my second time using MacDroid it didn’t update the files on the switch and when I removed the connection it kept telling me I couldn’t add a new connection to the switch because it was the wrong type. I managed to fix the issue by deleting MacDroid then re-installing it. But It took forever to treble shoot because I though I must have been using the wring kind of cable.

Incredibly Buggy & Invasive

The application is wildly flawed. First - they have somehow designed this app with no ability to close it / quit. So once you download it, it is forever running and you cannot quit the app. Because you cannot quit the app, YOU CANNOT UNINSTALL THE APP. Once you download it, it is forever on your device.
I needed MTP mode, but selected ADB by accident. But now that I selected that mode, ONE TIME, it FOREVER DEFAULTS TO ADB. I cannot undo it. I cannot uninstall it. I cannot make it top selecting ADB. So it’s permanently on my device, I can’t quit the app, I can’t uninstall the app, and it doesn’t work as advertised because I selected the wrong mode and now it’s permanently stuck in the incorrect mode.
It’s effectively useless and I highly recommend that you DO NOT put this on your MacBook. The downsides FAR outweigh the upsides, even for a free app.

Well, it works

I finally got it up and running. The finder view of my files didn't match the Tablet view which was the most disconcerting part. There are dozens of what must be invisible files exposed in the finder view. (Possibly from enabling de-bugging?}

So finding what were my files were all piled into a folder called "storage". The SD card was not dilleniated, for some reason. It certainly isn't plug-and-play

At any rate, when I finally dug it all out, file transfer was fine. I deducted one star for the scrounging I had to do to figure it out.
