Magcam uses the magnetometer and camera to create a
powerful event based device for Paranormal Research.
Mag Cam reads the EM fields around the iPhone and takes a picture when the field increases or deceases by more than the user selected setting.
The Mag Cam stores
the image in the iPhone Camera roll.
The Idea is simple, Mag Cam constantly monitors the em field. if the Field changes by the amount you select Mag Cam captures a picture.
This makes evidence review fast and easy …. instead of looking to see if some thing happened.
By utilizing a floating average Mag Cam can compensate for changes in the environment as well.

Mag Cam is simple to use:
Start the App, select the percent to trigger the camera.
For example:
By Moving the slider on the bottom of the screen the % of change in the EMF field can be set from .1% to 20% this means
if the field increase or decrease by the % selected the camera will take a picture.
The screen HUD "heads up Display" shows
all the real time data plus the camera's actual view.
On the upper left corner of the screen mag cam shows you the highest em value recorded while
running. "MAX"
Just Below the MAGCAM Logo "upper left of screen" is the current camera selected and just to the right of the that is the image count. Showing how many pictures have been taken.
On the right side of the screen the Average EMF value is displayed.
On the Left of the Screen the current EMF level is displayed
Bottom Center Screen is the USer Setting Slider. By Moving the Slider the user can set the % threshold to trigger the camera. Just above the slider the % setting is displayed.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
This version has new feature that allow for using either camera and the flash as well.
New visual display bars show Emf level and average for fast visual reads.

Has it been updated to work for iPhone 4?
I love the concept of this app, but every time it takes a picture, the app crashes and the photo doesn't get saved to the camera roll. :(
I didn't know it was "only for iPhone 3GS" until I had bought the app and read the instructions.
When I bought it, I didn't see anything that said it was "only for iPhone 3GS" in the description before I bought it...
It just doesn’t work.
I had high hopes for this app because I respect the efforts of the designer and his equipment, but I was sorely disappointed to find that this app just doesn’t work, in my experience. It goes crazy no matter what the setting even though I have a Mel Meter and it wasn’t registering anything at the same time. I also found that the readings would always increase when shifting from the vertical position to the horizontal and decrease when returning my phone to the original position even though I purposely moved slowly and did not alter the position of my phone relative to its starting point. Even though I would rack up dozens of photos there was never an indication of any photo evidence and, yet, the Mel Meter was calm. I know this is listed as being for “entertainment purposes”, but I sure haven’t received my $1.99 worth of entertainment. Lol My feeling is that this is a good idea, but the app needs a lot of work to make anymore than as a novelty.

I’m biased towards Bill and love all his products. With that said, MagCam is an excellent excellent app. One of a kind. I can’t wait till humanity is ready to embrace all the hard amazing work Bill and the rest of his team have done. (And realize its potential)
For the App itself it works simply. Read the EMF and snap a picture when something’s different. I’ve gotten amazing readings and results with iOvulus and ITC, but this one not so much YET. For some reason it spikes and takes pictures when I sleep. Nothing has been captured yet on MagCam but that’s not the fault of the app.
Believe in yourself and anything is possible. Once you dwelve into the rabbit hole your sanity might be tested, but it’s fun and an exhilarating journey to question reality. MagCam has the potential to capture! I can’t wait till he releases more!
PS the SLS camera in my opinion is one of the most powerful and influencing devices available to the public to buy. Highly recommend it.
