Magic Clock: the app that turns routines into a game and makes family life easier
Are you a parent who wants to communicate with your children about activity times? With the free mobile app, you can connect it to the Pamplume clock, which provides real-time tracking on its physical dial. It also includes a very handy timer! Together, time becomes visual, and you receive reminders of activity times and routines displayed on the dial.
Designed to meet the needs of parents and children, the app does not encourage screen time. It provides audio reminders to help keep track of habits more effectively.
For children with ADHD, it is a valuable aid and meets the need for structure.
THE CONCEPT OF TIME Your child may not know how to tell time or perceive the moments of their day. You can help by showing their activities on the clock face (tooth brushing time, reading time, etc.), they just need to follow the hour hand. But everyone can forget to look at the clock! That’s why Pamplume offers a very handy audio notification on your mobile to prompt your child to start a new task or activity.
BUILDING A ROUTINE A routine is acquired through repetition, so you can schedule a daily app notification and select the days of the week. You can also set up multiple routines and choose which one to activate: Morning routine, holiday routine, weekend routine, for example. It’s a tool you can take anywhere!
EDUCATIONAL When a child cannot read the time, it is hard to grasp the concept of time. We encourage learning to read the clock through the clock and app support. Gradually, your child learns to associate images with the moments marked by the audio reminder, then with the numbers on the dial.
INDEPENDENCE The Pamplume app encourages your child toward independence. They learn with pleasure and can understand the time of their routines on their own.
