PRIVATE BY DESIGN
MagicPing collects no data. Your computer list lives in your private iCloud; SSH passwords are stored only in the keychain. No ads, no tracking, no accounts.
GOOD TO KNOW
Wake-on-LAN must be enabled on the target machine (BIOS/UEFI and network adapter). Shutting down requires SSH access to the target. iCloud sync requires a signed-in iCloud account.

MagicPing 2.0 takes care of the MAC address for you — the one detail during setup that you can't read off anywhere so easily.
• Find computers on your network (Mac): MagicPing scans your network and fills in name, address and MAC address in one go. Whatever offers a computer service is listed first.
• Get the MAC address from the computer (Mac, iPhone, iPad): if SSH is set up, MagicPing asks the machine itself.
• New start screen: tells you what to do instead of showing an empty view.
