Have at thee! For millennia, House Ruby and the Azur Clan have disputed the checkered realms of Zugzwang. Neither side intends to concede. Both would appreciate your assistance. Maginet is a compact, chess-like tactics game about small bands of mages and the trouble they can cause. Move a mage, then they strike spells on their attack targets. Learn each attack pattern, guard your mana, and find the move that leaves your rival with nowhere comfortable to stand. A CAMPAIGN OF CURIOUS BATTLEFIELDS Follow a branching map through changing terrain and carefully arranged encounters. Discover side paths, collect victory stars, and meet new combinations of mages and magical powerups. SMALL BOARDS. MUCH TO CONSIDER. Every mage moves alike, but each kind casts differently. Powerups alter movement, attacks, and defenses. A promising position can become a dreadful mistake in a single turn. Take your time. Your opponent certainly has. MORE WAYS TO DUEL Challenge the AI, share a device for a local battle, or face another player online. Build your own encounters in the level editor. Campaign, AI battles, and local play work offline. BEGIN YOUR CAMPAIGN FOR FREE The tutorial, Basics I–IV, local battles, AI opponents, and level editor are free. A single Full Game purchase permanently unlocks the rest of the campaign and all online modes. Go forth, great maginettes. Do try to make your House proud.
