BUY SOMETHING ELSE THIS DOESN’T WORK

I wish I would have read the app reviews before buying the camera! I didn’t know of the app until trying to set the camera up. Basically I have spent HOURS(!!) trying to configure the camera to my phone. I get to the very last step and get an error. I contacted customer service and was told it sounded like an error with the app. I was sent an email to fill out, and to send to the development team, to receive additional help. Half a day later I am sent in reply, the same directions as were done through the app originally, and the camera still isn’t configured. I tried to go through the website but when I try to add the camera I am directed to “other products/services” I can purchase. If you are fortunate enough to see this before purchasing the camera, DON’T DO IT! At this point I would have rather spent triple the money and be done, than to have wasted so much time and still have nothing!

The video might be okay everything else is horrible

My wife picked up this camera and I was a bit worried. It turns out I should have just made her return it. It took 4 tries to get the camera setup. The video does seem to be okay, but the listening feature has lots of extra noise. When I go into the app it takes a long time. Sometimes up to a minute to get an updated feed from the camera, but the normal view doesn’t include a time stamp to tell you if it really is live. Finally many times when I tilt the phone the wide views get distorted and I have to back to the main menu to fix it.

So if you check this apps review before you buy. Don’t buy it. Spend a bit more on a better camera to watch your kids. At least a camera where they spent a bit more time on their app.

It WAS a good product

As stated in previous reviews, it just quit working. There was no 180 days that went by without using it. There was no email sent to me. I tried to reconnect the camera and it just would not. So, now I have A camera working out of 2. I am not rich. I got the simplest camera without requiring a subscription I could afford after my home was burglarized. It gave me peace of mind. How unfortunate. Fortunately, now there are better options. Blink, here I come.
