Description
A great way to email friends, colleagues, sports teams or church groups
Easily manage and send email to groups from the app, share documents to groups directly from other apps, or forward email to a group.
Try MailShot for free with up to three groups, of up to five people in each. A simple in-app upgrade unlocks the ability to create up to 100 different groups of 100 or more contacts (Limits depend on your email provider.)
Create groups in many ways: add from Contacts, import an address book group, enter addresses directly, or paste strings of names and addresses.
MailShot creates its own groups, which can do several things which regular address book groups cannot...
• Contacts can use different email addresses for each group. (Add work address to a work-related group, and home address to a sports group etc.)
• Contacts do not need to be present in your address book.
TIPS
• Protect privacy by placing addresses in the Bcc: line.
• To forward an email (with attachments), “Copy to clipboard" then paste to the address line in your Mail app.
SUPPORT
We pride ourselves on our quality of support and are always happy to hear from you. Please use the "Support" button in the app, as it will include useful diagnostic information.
You can also find a full User Guide, support information and tips at http://solubleapps.com/Mailshot-support.
What’s New
Version 10.1
An optional plugin is now available to verify the email domains for a group, a common reason that group emails can be rejected by your email provider. It will also test domains on any new addresses that you add.
Tap "Check" on a group for more details.
Ratings and Reviews
Easy & reliable
The recent update said there is now support for dynamic text and referred to support page but there’s nothing on the support page about it.
This app saves me time, allowing me to send group emails from my iPad no matter where I am. It is simple and quick to set up and use immediately. Now I don't have to be at home with my tower computer to send groups mails. There is a detailed manual to access from the app itself with a tutorial. If the manual does not have your answer, the app also has a means of contacting the creator by email. He replies quickly with a diagnosis and solution. This app is outstanding and very reasonably priced.
Developer Response ,
Hi, thanks so much for your lovely review.
The reference to the Support page was a general one which always appears, offering guidance on common questions.
This minor update was to fix a visual bug when sharing a photo or document to Mailshot with large dynamic text sizes. You can change the size in Settings, for apps across your iOS device ("Dynamic text" is the name Apple use for changing the font size in many apps, to aid those with visual impairment- it doesn't refer to (say) the use of differing sizes of text in an email, which is a whole other can or worms :).)
Thanks again
Fabtabulous App and evening greater service response!!
I teach Sunday School and have a group of 58 members to whom I send group emails with attached lesson plans. I was having a problem with having an attachment being attached to an email following the latest update to iOS 13. I wrote an email very early Sunday Morning, before 5:00 am. Peter, the app developer, must have been up praying I assume!, got my inquiry and responded with the solution in a matter of minutes! I was really impressed with the rapid and helpful response and love the app. You won’t go wrong using this one in either the free or the upgraded version which is very reasonably priced at $3.99.

Really Useful
Even though I have used this for several years, I feel compelled to write a review because it is so good. I used to use Outlook, but this is so much simpler and faster. I consume most of my email and newspapers these days from my iPad while sitting in my easy chair, so this app is easily available. Outlook requires a trip to my desk, firing up my computer, and bringing up Outlook ... not a trivial amount time. While I also have Outlook on my iPad (and it’s getting better), it’s still not as quick as MailShot
It’s very intuitive to learn, so it’s not necessary to read instructions, although there are very good video tutorials available.
