An absolute NECESSITY for anyone learning ANY language!!

This is such an amazing app. I’m in model UN and the way I approach subjects/topics goes with trying to get in contact with some people from those countries alongside of actual research from the countries. In all reality the app is a 4.5/5, but there’s no 1/2 star, so rounding down to 4 felt wrong, and in the end it is truly worthy of a 5. I’ll explain some of its flaws briefly:

They have a feature which lets you earn free coins by watching some ads, but no matter if you’ve never watched a video it’ll tell you that you’ve watched the maximum amount of ads and can’t get free coins. Newest update deleted my messages, but it’s not much of a problem, but I see how it can be for some. The chat feature itself has such a questionable design where to your conversations split into a “friends” and “chats” category that doesn’t matter anyway since they both lead to the same thing.

Other than that, the pros are nameless, and buying coins is a MUST! I buy about $10 worth a month, on top of getting the free daily coins! SERIOUSLY SUCH AN AMAZING APP

Forced to Pay Deceptive App

Updating my review because the developer seemed to think I was only referring to the problem of people trying to scam users for money. The problem is that the app itself is a grossly overpriced and manipulative money grab with a high subscription AND the cost of coins added on top of that. The most deceptive part is locking users out completely when they get 5 friends, cutting off all existing conversations. Though, I’m sure the developers know how deceptive this is already, they just try to redirect any complaints. Even if there were no scammers and fake profiles, this app would still be a complete rip off. Without premium, the filters are garbage and you can’t even filter by people learning the language you speak so I keep seeing people who want to learn Korean, but I only speak English. This makes you burn through all your coins quickly. …. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hope that clarifies my original review. The app lets you connect with people for free at first, but the moment you get 5 friends, ALL conversations are locked and you can do nothing but pay to keep using the app. This is the case even if you have hundred of “coins” remaining. It looks like they also use fake profiles to friend you so you hit that 5 friend limit quickly. I’ve never had so many hot women, half my age interested in chatting with me at once. A couple of people I spoke to appeared to be really nice, but it feels like the entire app is a scam.

It’s pretty good 1 flaw though

The app is actually pretty sweet. Basically the language tinder app lol lots of nice people willing to learn and teach or just be friends. The only issue is the “coin” system. Obviously since it’s a free app they have to use some system to make money but it costs coins to do everything from searching new people and checking their profiles or each message you send someone costs coins or if someone sees your profile to uncover their face it cost coins. There are free ways to earn coins by watching 5 ads you get 40 coins total for the day but that’s about it. The coin system is a hassle and makes it hard to chat because you don’t know if the other person has enough to continue chatting or not unless they say so. Other than that pretty useful app it’s always fun meeting new people and exploring cultures.
