MakersPreview brings your maker files to life with instant thumbnails, previews, and a lightweight viewer on macOS. Built for 3D printing and laser cutting workflows, it helps you recognize files faster and check what you need without always opening heavy apps.
For 3D printing, MakersPreview supports 3MF files from Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, and OrcaSlicer, and is optimized for models downloaded from MakerWorld and Printables, two of the most popular platforms for 3D printable models. MakerWorld support is built in, while Printables support is enabled through an optional browser extension with quick in-app setup.
For laser cutting and engraving, it also supports xTool XCS and Bambu Lab LAC files.
For 3D model creators, MakersPreview also supports GLB files commonly used by today’s AI 3D model generation tools, including MakerWorld MakerLab.
No more guessing which file is which. See your files before you open them and keep your project folders easy to browse.

We’ve improved 3MF support with dedicated optimizations for files exported from major slicers, including Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, and OrcaSlicer.
Printables support is now more complete too, with browser extensions available for Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
We’ve also introduced a lightweight model viewer for 3MF, OBJ, STL, and GLB, along with a new two-column preview mode that shows more at a glance. If you prefer the original layout, you can switch back to single-column mode anytime in Settings.
