Your city starts under a soft grey haze. Every walk lifts it: the streets you've walked light up in full color, the rest stay dim — a quiet map of what's still ahead. Open Maplight and your city sits under a soft grey haze — every street is still there, just dimmed. Start walking and the map lights up under your feet: the streets you've actually walked come back in full color, the ones you haven't stay muted. One glance tells you where you've been and where you've never set foot. That changes how you walk. Take a different street home, because you can see it's still grey. Arrive in a new city and set yourself a quiet goal: light up every street of the old town. Back home, switch to the heatmap and see which paths you take every day — and which corners of your own neighborhood you've somehow never visited. Then Maplight becomes a map of your favorite places. Pin a hidden courtyard, a beautiful old doorway, a view that stops you — add a note and a few photos. Share place packs with friends, or send someone arriving in your city the corners that matter to you. EXPLORE • The map brightens only where you've actually walked • Heatmap: everyday routes glow warm, rare ones cool — see where you go most and least • District progress for Belgrade and Novi Sad, or city-free mode anywhere on Earth • Stats: distance, time, explored area, day streak; weekly goals and achievements REMEMBER & SHARE • Pins with notes and up to 3 photos • Place packs you can send to friends as a simple file • GPX import and export — bring your walks from Strava, Garmin and other trackers EFFORTLESS • Records walks in the background, screen off • Live Activity and Lock Screen/Home widgets to start and stop • Auto-detect offers to record when you're already walking Free — no accounts, no ads, no analytics. Your map lives on your device and your own iCloud. The rest of your city is waiting to light up.
