Shop United Supermarkets 4+

It’s unfortunate but the new H‑E‑B in town will likely get more business because it’s extremely easy to shop online using their app. Contrarily, I do not have an easy time shopping United/MarketStreet using their app. I generally experience lags when trying to add things to my cart and the search engine including filter/sort is not that great. Today, I have tried adding tons of coupons while shopping in the app but it’s not registering. When I go to my cart, it’s like I never clicked the coupon so I’m afraid to checkout b/c I don’t know if the discount will be added. In addition, it is a pain to try to navigate the sales page as I seem to have to always start over when I view one category and add something to my cart. United really needs to up their game to compete with H‑E‑B in terms of online app shopping.

We are constantly working on improving the app. As long as you see the coupons as CLIPPED and you've purchased the required items in your cart, the discounts will apply when your order is checked out in store. I’m a SAHM w 4 kids. Being able to shop online or via app is truly a life saver. I do the majority of my shopping this way. I also suffer w anxiety & PTSD. There are days when walking into a store isn’t an option. Most days it’s not. I would love to be able to shop at United. We prefer their meats & produce. This app & website however make that impossible. The time it takes to shop on either, it would be quicker to shop in store. There are so many issues. Constantly glitches, will not upload, SLOW, not at all user friendly, it’s truly like going backwards. It’s next to impossible for me to use. I shop H‑E‑B & Walmart almost daily online. I would definitely think that anyone who struggled w the same kind of problems as I do are also not shopping United strictly b/c of these same issues. I’ve also been told by some families that I do some volunteer work with that the other stores also accept EBT online but United does not. I feel that United has had PLENTY of time to get the online features figured out but haven’t made it a priority to do so. It’s extremely unfortunate.

Thank you for the feedback. Please know that we are constantly working on improving our apps and website. I shop online weekly and the Buy Again feature makes it very efficient for me. Some pages are slower than others, especially if it's pulling personalized Rewards information. Some of our stores have starting testing with accepting EBT. You would see the option at checkout if available.

This is such a pain to shop with. Search results lack so much that you have to shop by category. Quantities don’t update from the shopping screen to the cart so you have to make sure anything you want more than one of actually updated and didn’t just stay at 1 item. And I still don’t know why it can’t notify you of out of stock items before you check out. I never know what I’m getting until it’s time to pick it up.

Know that only items that have sold at your store within the last week will display online so, most likely, they will be in stock. Unfortunately, inventory per store is not linked to online shopping.
