■ Find candidates from a use
Supports 13 categories and 27 environments, including aircraft, space, seawater, molds, and electrical insulation. Search 300 metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, and more by name, alias, standard, or use. Reference candidates remain available without every condition entered; strict results distinguish an unsuitable material from missing data.
■ Compare standards and processing
Switch between JIS and US ASTM, SAE, AISI, UNS, and AA designations. Compare properties, machinability, and sources for up to three materials. Filter 22 surface-treatment processes by substrate, purpose, dimensional effect, and process temperature.
■ Keep the basis and cost of a study
Estimate per-part total cost with material, machining, treatment, and inspection costs kept separate. Save and restore conditions and candidates as project revision history. Reference weight calculations from volume, rectangular stock, or round stock, favorites, and SI/US unit switching are included.

JIS and US standards are not necessarily fully interchangeable. For final design, confirm current standards, material certificates, product form, and actual service conditions with a qualified professional. The app does not automatically verify the authenticity or currency of supplied documents.
