A try costs one meat and is 3–5 tasks in a row without a mistake; the stars are paid only if it succeeds. • All five trophies of an age earn its seal, also shown in the chronicle. • The star counter in the village opens the trophy shelf. Spending stars never holds back the next age.

• New players now get the adviser's help at the start: a nudge to go on an expedition when coins run short, and on the first trail a word on the next stop, when to eat and when to head home. • On the trail and before a fight the hero carries the chosen weapon, and the hunters alongside hold their own era's weapons. • The second level of every building costs less, and the Trial of the Age now waits until every building is fully upgraded.
