AI Coach — Major Overhaul
The AI coach is now significantly smarter and more personalized. It now runs through a server-side proxy (improved security and cost control), has access to your full workout history via vector search (not just recent sessions), and uses a semantic memory layer that extracts and stores key facts about you between sessions. The coach can now look up your actual lift numbers, e1RM trajectory, and per-exercise history when giving advice.
AI Coach Memory Management
A new Coaching Memory screen in Settings lets you view and manage what the AI remembers about you — goals, preferences, training history highlights, and notes the coach has stored from past conversations.
Workout Notes (New)
You can now add notes to individual exercises during a session (via the new notes icon in the bottom bar), and a session-level note on the post-workout summary screen. Both feed directly into the AI coach's memory context for future conversations.
AI Chat: Tool-Use Architecture
The underlying AI chat system was migrated to tool-use / function-calling, making the coach more reliable at structured tasks like generating workouts, querying your history, and formatting responses consistently.
tvOS: Week Plan & Workout Preview
The tvOS weekly calendar now shows all 7 days and stays in sync with iOS completions in real time. Tapping a planned workout card shows a full day preview before starting.
Workout Session UI Polish
Strengthened bottom action bar with a wider Fail button and cleaner Prev/Next navigation pills
Max Lift toggle added to the active workout screen
Bodyweight exercises now display Load | Reps columns in consistent order
3.5 9h ago
Bug fixes and polish across the app.
• Fixed an issue where the action sheet was slow to appear when adding an exercise during an active workout
• Fixed bodyweight exercises (planks, hanging leg raises, etc.) not displaying correctly in active workout sessions
• Resolved several dark mode display issues in Settings — buttons and backgrounds now render correctly throughout
• Fixed the About screen title appearing behind the Dynamic Island / status bar on newer devices
• Fixed the Apple TV Connection screen buttons being invisible in dark mode
• Fixed white backgrounds in the Social Sharing modal not adapting to dark mode
• Improved workout session sync reliability
3.0.3 5d ago
Active workout improvements
Fixed a crash that could occur when adding an exercise during an active workout. You can now also create a custom exercise on the fly directly from the Actions menu — no need to leave your session. Tapping an exercise in the library instantly adds it to your workout without an extra confirmation step.
Exercise type accuracy
Bodyweight and timed exercises launched from a program now correctly carry their type and duration into the active session. Timed sets show seconds, bodyweight moves show the BW indicator, and distance exercises no longer show a "reps" label.
3.0.2 May 7
Small display ui fix in active workout screen, added ability to edit prescribed workouts on dashboard screen.
3.0.1 May 5
What's New in Version 3.0
Version 3.0 is a complete rebuild — new engine, new design, and the biggest set of features we've ever shipped.
AI Fitness Coach
Tell the app your goal, experience, schedule, and equipment. In seconds, a fully structured multi-week training program is generated for you — phased by week, with progressive overload built in. Not a template. A plan written for you.
Multi-Week Programs
Your training now lives in phases and weeks, not disconnected one-off workouts. See exactly where you are in your program, what's coming next, and how far you've come.
Today's Workout — One Tap
Open the app and your workout for the day is front and center. One tap to start. No digging through menus.
Redesigned Workout Experience
The active workout screen is built for the gym floor — large text, big tap targets, automatic rest timer, and a floating finish button. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
Macro Tracker
Log food by typing a description or snapping a photo of a nutrition label. AI parses it instantly. Progress bars for protein, carbs, fat, and calories live right on your dashboard and update your home screen widget in real time.
Share & Coach
Trainers can prescribe programs directly to clients. Publish your program with a share code so anyone can follow it. Built-in coach–trainee connection flow included.
Apple TV
Start a workout on your iPhone and it mirrors live to your TV — exercise name, current set, rest timer. Full-screen, no squinting.
Exercise Library
Semantic search across thousands of exercises. Filter by category, muscle group, and equipment. Save favorites to your personal list.
New Design System
Every screen has been redesigned from scratch — dark-first, high contrast, readable under gym lighting.

What's New in 2.6.1
Bug Fixes
• Apple TV sync fixed — When you fail a set on your iPhone, the Apple TV now immediately advances to the next exercise and updates the progress bar. Previously the TV would stay frozen on the failed set.
• Workout summary stability — Fixed a crash that could occur when dismissing the post-workout summary screen, which would leave the Completed Workouts list unresponsive.
• Failed set tracking — Sets marked as "Fail" during a workout are now correctly recorded and displayed after the workout ends.
Failed Set Indicators
You can now see at a glance which sets were failed in your workout history:
• Workout list — Each exercise shows a red "failed" badge next to the set count when any sets were failed.
• Expanded set view — Individual failed sets display a red × indicator instead of a set number, making it easy to see exactly which sets didn't make it.
• Workout summary — The post-workout breakdown now shows a "FAIL" badge on each exercise where sets were failed, and excludes failed reps from the total weight calculation.

What's New in 2.2.1
• AI Coach Fixed — Resolved an issue where the AI fitness coach would show a "Network error" instead of responding. Responses are now faster, more detailed, and handle longer conversations reliably.
• Workout Editor — Switching an exercise to "Body Wt" now properly hides the weight field instead of showing a confusing "0 lbs". Editing reps in the workout editor now correctly saves your changes instead of reverting to the original AI-suggested rep range.
• Apple TV Sync — Fixed a reliability issue where completing sets on your iPhone would intermittently fail to update the Apple TV display. Progress now syncs consistently every time.
• iPad Layout — Macro nutrition bars now display with correct proportional widths on iPad.

What's New in v2.2.0
First-Time App Tour
New users are now guided through the app with a polished onboarding experience:
Welcome splash — 4-slide intro modal covering key features, with a 14-day free trial offer for new subscribers
Contextual tooltips — smart tip bubbles appear the first time you visit each major screen: Dashboard, Workouts, Progress, Profile, Settings, Create Workout, Program Builder, Active Workout, Nutrition Tracker, and AI Coach Preferences
Replay anytime — Settings > Replay App Tour to revisit the full tour
Fully accessible: VoiceOver focus, Reduce Motion support, haptic feedback
Program Planner — Week Tracking Fixes
The active week in your program planner now stays in sync with the real calendar:
Calendar-aligned weeks — the highlighted week advances automatically on each Monday, matching how weekly training programs actually work
Smart completion detection — completing all workouts in a week immediately advances to the next week without requiring a manual "advance" tap
Dashboard card in sync — the "Week X of Y weeks" label and today's workout on the home screen now always reflect the same week as the planner
AI Coach & Workout Improvements
Nutrition tracker: manual food entry fallback when barcode/search unavailable
Mid-workout exercise additions are now included in the final session summary saved to your history
Fixed: adding exercises to an active workout
AI Coach preferences and user profile improvements
Updated AI coach prompt style
Combo with 2.1.1 fixes
2.1.1 — Bug Fixes
Active Workout
Exercises added mid-workout via the exercise browser now correctly appear in the post-workout summary and are saved to your workout history. Previously they were silently dropped when the workout was completed.
Nutrition Logger
"Could not parse meal" errors are now automatically retried once before showing the alert. The AI occasionally returns an empty response on the first attempt (a transient API issue) — the retry makes it invisible to the user.
Macro Widgets (iOS)
Fixed a double-reload bug that was burning through Apple's WidgetKit refresh budget twice as fast as necessary on every app open and every meal log. This was the root cause of the 15–30 minute widget update delays observed after logging a meal. Widgets should now reflect new meals significantly faster.
Update NutritionService to allow for multi ingredient entries
**Additional fixes applied to Welcome Splash screen to prevent safe area view breach.
2.2.0 Apr 16
What's New in Version 2.1
AI Post-Workout Coaching (new)
After completing a workout, your AI coach analyzes your performance and instantly delivers personalized feedback — including a readiness assessment (Push / Maintain / Deload), specific observations, and recommendations for your next session. The analysis runs in the background while you review your stats, so there's no waiting.
Smart Program Recalibration (new)
The AI can now propose specific weight and rep adjustments to your training program based on what you actually did. A review screen shows every proposed change so you can accept, skip individual adjustments, and apply them directly — your program automatically evolves as you progress.
Workout History Memory
The AI coach now draws on your past workout history when making recommendations, so advice gets smarter and more personalized over time.
Active Workout Improvements
Add exercises to a workout while it's in progress
Rest timer now previews the next exercise name, set count, reps, and weight
Exercise X of N counter now stays accurate when exercises are added or removed
