I moved to Montgomery county from the south. The library is clean and neat. The staff were very helpful especially Molly. They are very helpful and friendly.
This app works amazingly good. Easy to check on what you borrow and due dates etc.
I don't think I will be able to go visit the library very often because I am in online school and super busy work.
Nonetheless this library provides essentials for school projects, work related projects, or pure entertainments.
Great Libraries & Wonderful Staff!
One of my passions is reading all kinds of subjects. Buying books can be quite an expensive hobby, so the library is the next best thing. 😁 The Libby app is pretty cool along with the library app that I can use on my phone or my laptop.
I come from a different state, counties are a lot smaller and towns are closer together but if you live in a different town you can’t take out books from their library. 😑
So, I really love the concept of a network of the libraries. It’s a game changer! The ability to find a book, put a hold on it, pick it up & drop it off at the closest library to where you live is a godsend!
I live in Conroe & that library is pretty impressive. I don’t even feel uncomfortable if I need to leave my laptop while searching for a book. The newer security guard makes everyone feel very safe and he even checks on you if you’ve been there for a while. One night I was one of the last people to be leaving & the only female. He saw me & said he wants to ensure everyone’s safety so he followed me all the way outside, watched as I packed up & gave me the thumbs up that I’m good to go. It’s really nice to know he takes his job seriously. (I think he’s ex Law Enforcement)
There’s a lot of different types of places to sit, depending on what you are doing. I like to sit by the window at the large desk area in the corner to spread out my work & laptop. I carry a lot of stuff with me so it’s nice to have room!
I am the type that needs to be in a place free from too many distractions and the library is my new home for this. I am studying for my bachelors degree in forensics & crime scene investigation. Lots of papers to write & LOTS of studying law! The law section has such an array of different sources for me & has saved me more than once in writing papers! 🙌🏻
This library ROCKS! Keep up the good work.
Don’t save my card
There’s some kind of bug that does not save my card no matter what I do. Unfortunately there is no one to contact to get it fixed
