MECC is an approach to behaviour change that utilises the millions of day to day interactions that organisations and people have with other people to encourage changes in behaviour that have a positive effect on the health and wellbeing of individuals, communities and populations. The App is a tool to help you facilitate behaviour change.
Within the county of Northamptonshire and through funding by Health Education East Midlands, a partnership between Northamptonshire Public Health, Northamptonshire CCGs and Zinc Digital Business Solutions Ltd has enabled the development of a digital Application for MECC.
What the MECC app does
This new easy access App provides you with all the relevant MECC training, and provides information on how to help people make healthier lifestyle choices. Accessible information including:

- Alcohol Consumption
- Physical Activity
- Healthy Eating
- Emotional Wellbeing
- Supporting Independence Programme (SIP)
- Falls
- Sexual Health
- National Screening Programme
- NHS Health Check
