Description
Parenting can be isolating, especially when you don't have strong connections to other families. Building those connections can be difficult, but Meerkat is here to help.
We're a matching app designed specifically to help parents meet other parents for the purpose of building a stronger community to raise their children in.
No more walking up to strangers in public places and trying to start a conversation while chasing your little ones. Meerkat will show you profiles of other users in your area and you can 'like' or 'pass' on them. If both you and another profile 'like' each other, you're matched and can start chatting! Both groups are only notified if there's a mutual match so if someone likes you but you pass on them no worries - there's no notification and no awkward ghosting.
Finding other parent friends and building a community to raise your kids in is easy on Meerkat!

My wife and I had been looking for something like this for quite a while. Meerkat exceeded our expectations. Everyone should definitely try it !
Great concept, OK execution
I’ve been looking for an app like this for my family. I think I’m general, the app is clean and very user-friendly,however, it can be clunky at times. I would think for a Family/couple matching app, you would allow multiple people to access the same account. My profile belongs to me only and shows my job title as if my partner is not a fundamental part of my family. I think this is an architectural flaw and should be fixed while this is still in early stages. That being said, love the concept!

For new (or not so new) parents that may have even met on “matching” apps themselves, a fun and easy way to find new friends for you and your kiddos. Ingenious!
