Record a meeting and read it as it happens. Transcription and speaker labels run on your iPhone or iPad, offline. Start from Control Center or Siri. Memory Notch records a conversation and transcribes it on your iPhone or iPad as it happens. Follow the live transcript, see who is speaking, and keep every note on your device. Recording and transcription work offline, and your audio never leaves your device. START FROM ANYWHERE • Tap the Memory Notch button in Control Center, or ask Siri. On iPhone, the Action Button can start it too. • On iPhone, the Dynamic Island and Lock Screen show the timer and the latest line, with Stop one tap away. • On iPad, your library and the recorder sit side by side. A TRANSCRIPT YOU CAN CHECK • Multilingual live transcription, on device. • Speakers are labelled as they talk: Speaker 1, Speaker 2. • Enhanced transcript re-transcribes a saved recording more carefully, and your vocabulary list helps with names and jargon. • Tap any line to hear that moment. YOUR NOTES, YOUR TOOLS • Each recording is saved as audio and a Markdown note you can open in the Files app. • Ask AI sends a note to Claude, ChatGPT or any other app through the share sheet. If you send it to a cloud service, that service's data policy applies. PRICING Free to download. Free recordings last up to five minutes, and everything captured is saved. A one-time in-app purchase removes the limit. No subscription. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • iPhone and iPad do not let apps record phone calls or other apps' audio. Use Memory Notch for meetings in the room or on speaker. • No automatic summaries. Speakers are numbered, not named.
