Firstly this game is amazing and extremely entertaining. So after a few weeks of playing and spending well over 100 USD into the game I’ve found that it’s largely unfair in the later levels. The lower tier ducks, the ones that a player can only upgrade to S+ have no limits when it comes to the AI which in itself is unfair. I’ve found that the duck “Puppet” is one of the strongest AIs as it can completely change the outcome of the game. As a player you can only upgrade Puppet to S+ making it useless for a player to use but the AI can have it at U tier which with Puppets abilities they can do extreme damage to most of your ducks and heal to full. The only way to beat puppet is to apply a reduce healing effect which can be difficult if they are placed in the back rows unless you specifically have prepared for her. The only other way to beat these unfair AIs is to outlevel them which takes an unreasonable amount of time even in the early levels and only gets harder and harder to afford levels as your tier increases. The only way this can be fixed is by encouraging the developers to create more ways of gaining resources necessary to level up or by reducing the cost of the levels. All in all the game is amazing though from my point of view it seems largely forced that they want you to spend money to buy things necessary for upgrades but even that has little effect in the scheme of things.
First of all, thank you very much for your review and your love of the duck. The development team will be motivated by your recognition.Everyone uses a different combination of heroes, which will lead to different feelings about the strength of AI. The biggest problem at present is that there are no more strategies that can tell you some suggestions for hero combinations and the mutual restraint relationship between heroes. C-tier heroes are just to help you get acquainted with the gameplay and basic skills at the beginning. C-tier heroes are generally weaker than B-tier heroes, especially in the middle and late stages of the game, even if their levels are exactly the same. (It can be seen from the number of skills of heroes, the number of skills of B-tier heroes is one more than that of C-tier heroes.) In addition, the above conclusions are only for the middle and late game. In the early game, different players will have different matching strategies, and there are very strong teams waiting to be discovered by you.Specific to your question about the duck "Puppet", you can try to use some ducks that attack the back row directly, for example, "Artificial Maid", "Knife" or "DK78". Because of the randomness of the target, some luck is required. To really play the strength of the A-tier duck, it is necessary to match him with different teammates to deal with different levels. Many players feel that it will be difficult to reach a certain level. In fact, many different matching strategies can be used to use ducks with low combat power to pass the difficulties, but you need to carefully study the skills of ducks and try many times. We feel very sad that this kind of strategy makes some players mistakenly believe that Merge Duck 2 is pay to win. Although this is an idle game, it still takes some time to wait for Idle to gain experience, but gaining experience and leveling up is not the only way to deal with challenges, our game is not pay to win.If you have enough time, we recommend that you open the community interface in the game and try to look at the Asian Facebook community, there are many articles sharing how to use low-level ducks to challenge high levels through different combinations. (Although it can be difficult to read in different languages, consider using Facebook's translation feature.)I hope more English guides can appear, which can reduce a lot of misunderstandings and confusions.
