Learn science with hands-on, interactive simulations!

PLEASE NOTE: This app requires a Merge Cube and a smartphone or a tablet to experience. Find out how to get a Merge Cube and learn more at:

Students can learn science effectively with over 100 science simulations they can touch, hold and interact with! Merge Explorer (along with a Merge Cube) allows students to investigate a smoking volcano in the palm of their hand, examine a great white shark up close, hold and explore the solar system, dissect a frog (humanely!), and so much more. With easy-to-follow activities and built-in quizzes, students gain key knowledge while immersed in learning, both in the classroom or while remote learning at home.

Merge Explorer includes NGSS-aligned topics for K-8th grade, like Physical Science, Life Science, and Earth & Space Science.

Mrs.Ry ,

Great fun for student engagement & interaction!

My students really love using the Merge cubes as it allows them to hold and view objects they may never get a chance in real-life. The feature I am really excited about is the ability for my students to create and place their objects on the platform for others to interact with. My students really love creating objects for 3D printing, but sometimes we do not get a chance to do so. Now we have an alternative that allows us to still create, but with an added bonus! Merge cubes really allow us to elevate our lessons. I do miss some of the older apps that were available through Merge, so I am hoping that more content can be added in the future!

Not there yet for remote teaching.

I just downloaded the latest update hoping they fixed a few of the things I think would improve the app. I’m a STEM teacher teaching elementary school students on an iPhone 11 Pro Max and the app still has trouble recognizing the cube in good light from 2 feet. My biggest issue is that I would like a way to share the experience with my students who are stuck at home with the rest of the country. There is no way to record this experience without an additional device. I tried screen recording but it only records the cube not the overlay. Also, when you turn the device to horizontal on some sections like the water cycle the words appear sideways. On the same section when you advance using next, “evaporation” appears but on the next advance all three appear instead of one at a time. Evaporation is not visible on the home screen of the water section only the other three. It would be an awesome tool if the developers took into account the fact that most of us using this right now have no one to share it with. At least, let us record the screen. Thanks for your consideration.

Please take away the need for a subscription for access to the full experience!!!!!

Because of this I am going to have to give you a four out of five for your game so if you could please change that it would make me a very very very very very very very VERY happy person! :)
