The merge cube lets you display 3-D objects on a simple cheap foam cube. This means that you can hold and move 3-D models by looking at them through this app. The upload support is top-notch. Exporting from Feather 3-D (AMAZING for figuring out concepts with simple modeling) on iPad, importing models is one click.The ability to build structures and interact with uploaded objects in the real world , scaling them up to room size, is remarkable. The tracking is excellent, and brings a level of immersion I did not expect. Wish list:Allow objects in World mode to snap together (horizontally + vertically), a camera button, and bring back VR support!

I noticed Object Viewer has a new look, which is very nice. I’ve been using this app for about 4 months now and I love it. It takes a bit more creativity to use this app than Explorer, but there’s a lot of versatility. It’s enjoyable to go through the collections and see the various objects and I find the app very simple to use. My niece enjoys it, and I sometimes show her objects on the cube while teaching her about things like planets and dinosaurs. She is pre-school but I think it is important to get kids comfortable and familiar with technology that may be a big part of their lives in the future.

I noticed Object Viewer has a new look, which is very nice. I’ve been using this app for about 4 months now and I love it. I stumbled across this app after seeing an ad and I am soooo glad I did. I cannot wait to use this with my students and my own kids. I am a K to 8 STEM teacher and this is a Seriously amazing teaching tool! I love that you have the option to use the cube, 3D, or real word view. I can see so many possibilities for enhancing current lessons with this app!I haven’t explored it yet, but looking forward to trying out the printable cube with my students!! Would recommend to my colleagues for sure!

Engagement AND Learning! ❤️
I am in love with this app! There are countless manipulatives available in the library! As with Merge Explorer, you can place these into your current environment, but this particular app allows you to add and move several different objects into an environment! It saves your work, and you move the next object in. This will allow students to do storytelling with the objects!! I see great cross curricular opportunities here- science, STEM, ELA, Social Studies, and theatre could all “merge” together here to create profound learning opportunities!
