Description
MetaX is an app that helps you check, edit and delete metadata of photos, including but not limited to EXIF, TIFF...
With MetaX, you can do:
・check main metadata (E.g. ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, FNumber and so on)
・Add date to image
・Add location to image
・Remove all metadata
・Support HEIF
・Download image from iCloud
・”MetaX” album will be created
・Two type of save mode (1. Delete original image at same time. 2. Remain original image)

Alright but it does not change modified date.
The app is all right, but the way that iPhone organize its photos is my modified date. This app only is able to edit the creation date. Therefore it defeats the purpose of editing the date. Otherwise it works OK.
Would be amazing but..
This app would be amazing (not design wise, just because it’s the only free app that doesn’t add a watermark), but it only edits the “created date” not the “modified date”, and camera roll sorts by modified date, so if I use this app to say a photo was taken in January 2001, it will still be the most recent photo in my camera roll, which defeats its purpose for me. If all you need to change is created date though, it works fine for that, as long as the date is in the past.
Please add batch option
Thanks to the developer for making this great app available at no cost!!!
I highly recommend this app, but it wold be absolutely be amazing if it allowed to delete metadata from multiple photos at a time. It’s very time consuming to delete metadata for each image individually - please add a “batch” edit option :)
