New features!

See falling stars all year round!

Welcome to MeteorFinder, the comprehensive meteor app.

MeteorFinder shows you when you can see the next falling stars to make wishes come true!

No matter where you are: MeteorFinder shows you at what time you have to look in which direction in the sky to see falling stars. It also shows you how many meteors you are likely to see.

More than 16 meteor streams can be observed during the year. All of them can be seen over several nights.

The „Perseids“ are the most famous meteor stream, which can be observed from the end of July to the end of August. But also in almost all other months it is worth to have a look into the sky!

KristinKaz ,

Interesting but….

I’m trying to view the current meteor showers here on April 22 and 23rd. The thing that’s confusing about this app I’m not sure where to look in the sky to see them. The method that they do, it is kind of confusing on here. It would be nice if you made this a little more user from.side from that it’s super cool. Maybe I’m just missing something on locating them in the sky.

Hi KristinKaz,
thank you so much for your review and helpful recommendations. Since the Lyrids meteor stream is still visible for two nights, I suggest the following: look in the direction in the sky to where the red arrow of the App shows. The best is you rotate yourself so that the red arrow shows to a direction directly in front of you. Then look in the sky directly in front of you in the height of the inclination when the blue ball of the App is in the white circle. Good luck to discover some meteors - and please contact me directly if any further problem occurs (Menu More - Feedback/Contact).

Very Simple & Extremely Unique

I found this app in the AppStore a few days after Halloween and stargazing is my top passion/hobby , but the problem with that is I’m like Murphy’s law -Anything that can go wrong WILL definitely go wrong , I’m a good hearted person with the worst luck , So of course every time I try to stargaze it’s either to cloudy to see anything or my time gets cut way to short cuz I have to deal with other stuff etc.

So far I’ve only seen one meteor with this app, and this app was right on point with where it said to look for the meteors etc Plus this app is SO easy to use and navigate, that anyone over the age of 7 years old can 100% use this app just fine without help from no one .

I love how Simple the whole user face is , I 1000% definitely RECOMMEND everyone that is reading my review right now (especially my fellow stargazers lol) downloads this app and then go have fun using it :) . An if you don’t like it , just simply delete it from your phone 🙂, but if your really into astrology and stargazing /meteor searching etc Then this App will quickly turn into your go-to app for all of ur night sky gazing needs 😇👍.

Thank you very much for your very positive review. It makes me very happy and motivates me to further develop the app in this sense.

My go-to app for meteor showers

I love the “best & future time” setting/action. This app would be the absolute best if there was a map of the night sky too.

Developer Response ,

Thank you very much for your valuable suggestions, which I will gladly consider including in a future version.
