MidiWrist Unleashed turns your Apple Watch into a standalone MIDI controller that directly connects to any advertised Bluetooth LE MIDI device, without the need of your iPhone or any other proxy.
The tactile feel of the digital crown combined with haptic feedback, gives you control over any MIDI device by touching your wrist, even when you're not looking.
MidiWrist Unleashed makes no sound on its own and can't advertise itself as a Bluetooth LE MIDI device.
NOTE: The reliability of Bluetooth LE MIDI support in hardware devices varies. MidiWrist Unleashed was tested with iPhone, iPad, Mac and CME WIDI devices. We can't guarantee the connection stability nor MIDI message latency with other devices.
IMPORTANT: MidiWrist Unleashed can only connect to Bluetooth MIDI devices, and doesn't support Siri commands. If you need to connect to other MIDI devices or use the Siri features, the original MidiWrist app is still available with those features.

i have a seperate focus & watch face for music production but this app has no complications and no iphone counterpart so i'm unable to add it to my watch face for easy access while producing, especially using multiple apps this would be a huge quality of life improvement & considering this is an app designed for apple watch, i assumed there would at least be a complication to launch the app.this is the only thing holding this otherwise absolutely perfect app back for me, otherwise it's great! i just really hope to see at least a "launch app" or similar complication in the near future, good job on the app! :)
Useful. Could be more useful.

I use it to trigger recording with Koala inside of AUM on my phone while an on-screen keyboard is in the forefront. I also have it set to show or hide Koala as I need to see it. My biggest gripe is that there is no duplicate or copy function. On each page, you can only add four buttons. I have each button mapped to a sampler pad. If I want to map sixteen pads I have to start from scratch with each new page of four. I want to be able to duplicate a page I’ve already made (which is unavoidably fiddly on a small watch screen) and simply modify the Channels or notes as needed. That would save SO much time and hassle. Also, why is the default note velocity set to: On - 96 and Off 64. “Off” should be 0 for off! I have to correct that for every button. Just set the default to 127 and 0 like other controllers.[This next part seems to not be an issue anymore]Lastly, if I close AUM (running Koala) and close Midiwrist Unleashed then open them both back up again, they are no longer connected. That’s fine and all except that Midiwrist will still say it’s connected (even though it’s not) which adds an extra step of disconnecting before I’m able to actually connect once I broadcast my iPhone (via AUM) as an open connection. If I don’t first disconnect in Midiwrist, I can’t re-establish the connection.Considering this app cost $15 (maybe the most expensive watch app there is), I really hope to see these issues addressed.

Connecting on iOS 26 fixed. Excellent app support via Discord. I can use my old SE watch also.
Added support for watchOS 26.
