Mileage rates now follow the date of each trip. The IRS business rate rose to 76¢/mi on July 1, 2026 (HMRC 55p/mi from April 6; ATO 91c/km from July 1), and your reports, year-to-date estimate and exports now price every trip at the rate that applied on that day — earlier versions used one rate for the whole year. • Canadian exports carry the note that the per-kilometre figure is an allowance estimate, not a T2125 filing method. • Restore Purchases now asks you to sign in first, and tells you when a subscription belongs to a different account. • Clearer wording about your data after the trial: it stays on your phone and can be exported any time from Settings → Data.

Fixes and improvements: - Trip end times are now more precise — a trip closes right when you actually stop, not up to a minute later. - Fixed a Canadian tax bug: lease and loan-interest receipts were valued as if they covered one month, even when they were a full year's statement — the deduction is now calculated correctly.

Automatic trip detection is more reliable, and you can now choose the shortest drive worth saving. • Fixed drives being lost or discarded. A stale location fix or a wrong motion reading could open a phantom trip at your destination while the real drive went unrecorded. Detection now trusts GPS speed over the motion classifier, no longer restarts itself unnecessarily, and closes a trip that has outlived its data. • New in Settings → Auto-detect: Minimum trip distance (50 m to 500 m). Drives shorter than this are treated as noise. • The diagnostics log now survives an app restart and records why a trip was discarded. • Removed the referral program.

Fixes a bug that could stop GPS recording during a drive, causing trips to be shortened or missed entirely. Also includes fixes to trip and shift data accuracy, expenses, and referral rewards.

Big battery improvement: location tracking now stands down when you stop moving instead of running the GPS continuously, matching the Android behaviour. Fixed: you can now assign a place to a job. Adding a place from the job screen previously did nothing when you had no saved places yet. Fixed: scrolling in several sheets. Buttons like Save, Delete and Add place could be pushed off-screen with no way to reach them.

Privacy and reliability release. • Trip locations are no longer sent anywhere. Travel mode is yours to set. • Turn on iCloud backup right from the Today screen — your trips are copied to your own iCloud Drive and kept up to date, so reinstalling no longer loses them. • Mileage rates corrected and verified: Australia now 91c/km. If we do not publish an official rate for your country, you set your own instead of getting someone else's. • Exports now always cover the whole date range, so a view filter can never quietly shorten your records. • A failed database upgrade now says so clearly instead of showing an empty app. • iCloud restore now warns that it replaces what is on your device, and only offers itself when there is genuinely nothing to lose. • Recording keeps going when a trial ends mid-drive, and GPS points are no longer dropped if a write fails.
