THIS IS HOW TO MAKE THE APP WORK

This app is a bit confusing on iPhone, but I got it to work. Here’s how: Turn the camera to wireless mode and connect with your iPhone’s WiFi. This was the easy step I could get to work no problem, and is explained in your camera’s manual. The problem I ran into was leaving the WiFi settings and then going to the app, it would always say the camera was not connected (even though the camera screen said it was connected to my phone). What you need to do is DISABLE CELLULAR DATA in the ProShot app settings on your phone. Once you do this, if you are connected to your camera under WiFi settings, and you open the app, it immediately connects to your camera, which you should see reflected on the camera screen. Hope this helps!! App developers you NEED to add this into the app as instructions when you first open the app, there is no info about this online, I figured it out solely through trial and error.

Works as described

This app has some bad reviews. Not sure why. I am using iPhone 11 Pro with iOS 13. I tried to connect my camera without reading the instructions and connection failed. I read the instructions and followed the directions and my camera connected just fine with no problems. I was able to take a few test photos. That will take some practice to get the camera adjusted and then use my phone to snap the photo. I can see how this could be useful in photographing wildlife. Set up the camera on a tripod walk away and use your phone to take the pics. I like how you can transfer photos from the camera to your phone if you want to share them right away instead of uploading to your computer first.

Short version to connect your camera:

The camera connects as though it is connecting to the Internet. So after you open the app to connect and it takes you to your permission settings for your photos to be able to access them, then you have to go to your WiFi settings and click on your camera name and put in the password from the camera. You can’t be connected to the Internet at the same time as your camera. Hope this helps...

Horrible

My camera doesn’t connect with the app. Tryin go to change the password but the menu screen doesn’t have that option. Camera is basically useless if the app doesn’t work. I called customer service, left a number and they that never called back.
