Minutown is a focus timer where your study time builds a living town.
Start a session and a building rises on a little island while you work. Finish it and you get a few minutes to build: roads and houses first, then a café, a bakery, a school, a fire station, a zoo, a cinema, a church, mosque, synagogue or prayer hall, and nine great monuments that take hundreds of hours to finish.
A TOWN THAT LIVES
• People walk to work and school, push prams, walk dogs and sit on benches in the sun.
• Cars, taxis, a town bus and a tram stop at the lights and at the stops; the post van does its morning round and bins go out on bin day.
• The weather is your weather. Rain, snow, wind and a rainbow after the rain; washing out on fine days; lights going on at dusk and off as the town goes to bed.
• Stop for a week and the city goes quiet and dark. One session wakes it again. Nothing is ever destroyed.
A CALM PLACE TO FOCUS
• A quiet focus screen with a ring that fills as you go.
• Backgrounds to study by: a beach, northern lights, rain on the window, snowfall, cherry blossom, autumn woods and more, each with its own sound, or your own photo.
• Study sounds (rain, waves, fireplace, summer night), or play from Spotify, Apple Music or Podcasts.
• Repeat sessions with breaks, or use the stopwatch.

• Daily and weekly goals, and rest days that don't break your run.
• Today's plan is made from your checklist and your exam dates, nearest exam first.
