Doesn’t do nothing SMH
As soon as you download the app they ask you to download it, it asked u to download the “latest hardware update”without providing any contacts as to what you’re downloading or what the app actually is intended to do, should’ve read the comments first before downloading but oh wow un-downloading.

It's a hint for firmware upgrade, it would take 1 minute to download and upgrade the dongle automatically.
We would release newer firmware to fix some bugs and improve the product via firmware upgrade.
So you don't need to worry about it, just wait for 1 to 2 minutes, after firmware upgrade, it would work normally again.

Doesn’t work
Nothing happened. Tried every possible fix and nothing

Here are some suggestion for you:
1.Reboot your phone, and also select Transfer files(MTP) for connection.
2.Long press the hole on dongle 5 seconds to do reset.
3.Take a new one USB cable then connect again.
Works
I got a TMY projector and when I plug in my device that HDMI & dvi screen appears and I saw the reviews and they are not true
