Great App and Publication!

As I’ve tried to get my news and information without needing to go through social media platforms, ease of use and access to quality content have been paramount. The Tech Review has nailed this, and instantly converted me to a subscriber so I could experience the full breadth of what they offer! Access to everything in the magazine, plus so much more, is seamless, valuable, and fulfilling!

Terrible App, Great Content

No doubt, the content from MIT is terrific. I’ve subscribed for years. But, the content is so difficult to reach. The app can’t keep me logged in. And reading in a browser constantly requires logging in and it’s common to loose the article I was logging in for and need to start all over. I’ve complained multiple times to the staff directly. They never have a solution that lasts. If I wasn’t addicted to the content I would happily drop this annoying process. Wouldn’t you expect that the smart people at MIT would be able to make the subscription and logging in process work? The New York Times can do it, so can many others.

Hi B1270 -

We're sorry you can't seem to get logged in reliably. It sounds to us like you could use some assistance connecting your subscription to the app. We'd be delighted to help - we promise the app is a snappy and easy to use. Once your pre-existing subscription is connected, you should never have to reconnect it—on the web we do have to ask you to re-log in every once ina. while, for security purposes.

Please email help-website@technologyreview.com with your issue. Feel free to mention. that you had this exchange in the APP store. All incoming requests for help go directly to our head of customer support, Tim. He is a delight and incredibly helpful.

We're eager to get your subscription connected, and we want to thank you for your years of subscription. We hope solving this hiccup for you earns us your continued loyalty.

My go-to tech news app

News aggregators are good and all, but I find it's a 50/50 proposition to find well researched articles that aren't actually rehashed tech or bio company press releases or opinion pieces. The Tech Review app is nothing but high quality tech journalism, and it is well executed to boot. Great user experience, fast load times - in short, it reflects the best aspects of the sectors that it covers.
