Model ML 6.0 brings a more capable Task Manager, a thought process that matches the web app, and an optional app lock. Tasks: rename a task from its page, edit its instructions in place with checkboxes, bullets, numbered lists and links, and change its status, due date and project without leaving it. Drag tasks to reorder them in the list and board views, rename board statuses or add new ones, and create tasks from a sheet that looks like the task page itself. Chat: the thought process now shows one entry per turn with how long it took, and web searches and code steps you can open for detail. "Working" appears the moment you send a message, threads that are still generating shimmer in the sidebar, answer text stays selectable, and clarifying questions are easier to answer. Also in this release: • Optional app lock: protect Model ML with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode after signing in, where your workspace allows it. • Filter Projects by All, Personal and Shared with me, and Sites by All, Personal and Others. • Search keeps the keyboard open while you refine what you typed. • Spreadsheets, decks, Word documents and PDFs show their familiar Office and PDF icons everywhere. • Answers that cite a connected tool, such as your calendar or email, show a source pill instead of raw text. • Intune: sign-in continues automatically after a PIN check, first-time setup is explained before it starts, and citations open normally on managed accounts. • Your sign-in details are hidden in the app switcher, and account details are stored more securely on the device. • The app no longer shows a "Checking secure access" screen on every launch.

Organisations that use Microsoft Intune can now protect Model ML on your phone. If your workspace requires it, the app asks you to confirm your work Microsoft account once, applies your organisation's protection settings, and keeps its work data encrypted. First-time setup includes a quick app restart. Nothing changes for workspaces that don't use Intune. Also in this release: • Recording and notetaker controls appear only when your workspace allows them, so Calendar Only users see their meetings without recording buttons. • Links to published sites open in your browser instead of a viewer inside the app. • Workspace pages opened inside the app no longer show the "Open in the Model ML app" banner, and gain an Open in browser button.

Your workspace now decides what the app can do. Organisations can switch off photo and file uploads, dictation, copying answers out of the app, and the Face ID lock, and Settings shows exactly what your workspace allows. Also in this release: • Sites open full screen inside the app, and the version picker shows your own draft alongside Master. • Live sites are badged correctly in the Sites list. • Project pages show the project's instructions at the top, with a composer ready at the bottom. • Task Manager adds a task in one tap, with the keyboard ready for the title. • If microphone access was denied, the app now says so and takes you to Settings. • Primary buttons take the brand blue, and the side navigation has its own colour in light and dark.

Meetings now follows your workspace settings: it appears wherever your organisation has it enabled and stays out of the way where it does not. Settings shows which features your workspace allows. Also in this release: • A recording in progress stays visible wherever you navigate in the app. • Audio-only meeting recordings get a clearer two-row player. • Tables in chat answers render as a scrollable grid, and HTML answers open inside the app. • Documents from chat open under their real names. • A refreshed icon set and colours that match the Model ML web app, with tidier spacing and empty states throughout.
