This first update improves Moity creation, expense entry and currency conversion. Moity is available in 5 languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian and Arabic. EXCHANGE RATES FOR YOUR EXPENSE DATE • A reference rate is suggested automatically to convert an expense into your Moity’s currency, with its source and actual rate date. If no rate was published on the requested date, the latest rate available on or before that date is used. • Enter your own rate or switch back to the automatic rate. Changing the expense date or currency refreshes the automatic suggestion; a manually entered rate is kept when you change the date. • Your chosen rate is saved with the expense. Later rate changes do not recalculate past expenses. • Offline, a previously cached rate may be suggested; otherwise, enter one manually. Syncing keeps the rate you chose when entering the expense. REFINED FORMS • Moity and expense creation now share a glass appearance, rounded fields and a consistent presentation in light and dark modes. • Titles and subtitles scroll with the form. The fixed header strip has been removed, with an additional iOS fix for the expense form background. • Swipe to close, confirmation buttons accessible above the keyboard and clearer loading indicators. • Corrected the Moity editing form’s background and unified the pickers used to record reimbursements. EASIER MOITY CREATION • Resume your draft after closing the form. Drafts are saved separately for each account and Moity type until you create the Moity or confirm that you want to discard the draft. • Participants are grouped together, with a count that includes the creator and a reminder when approaching the limit. • Required-field errors and duplicate names appear beside the relevant fields and clear when corrected. • Use Next to move between fields and Done to dismiss the keyboard without creating the Moity. IMPROVED CURRENCY SELECTION • The menu opens beside the field, showing flags, currency codes and the selected currency, with a native presentation on supported iOS versions. • “More…” opens a card matching the forms, with one continuous list and search always accessible above the keyboard, even when there are no results. • Search 155 currencies by name or code, regardless of case or accents, with names translated into all five app languages. CLEARER EXPENSE ENTRY AND SPLITS • Each payer’s amount appears directly below their name. Totals for multiple payers, exact amounts and percentages update as you type. • Native iOS date picker and clearer category selection. • Attached receipts are clearly identified and can be removed before saving. • Fixed a crash and an issue that omitted a participant when someone joined a Moity while the expense form was open. NOTIFICATIONS, ACCESS AND ACCESSIBILITY • Notification settings are grouped in your profile, including without an account, with a link to iOS settings when permission has been denied. • More reliable notification registration when launching or returning to the app, especially after rejoining a Moity. • Cards and screens now distinguish a freed place from a deleted Moity. The invitation code helps you reclaim a place that is still available, and inaccessible cards can be removed from your list. • Fixed reclaiming a place through a device link. • Improved support for larger text, screen readers, right-to-left layouts and language-specific decimal separators.
